Over 2000 @ Rockin’ The Rainforest Concert
The rain threatened all day but it sure didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the over 2000 attendees of the Rockin’ The Rainforest concert held in the School Market grounds on Tamborine Mountain for a fabulous fundraiser hosted by Tamborine Mountain State School!
Concert-goers were treated to a star line up including: Brolga – a fusion of Rock, Funk and Indigenous rhythms; Haystack Mountain Hermits – multi award-winning family band; The Inadequates – an acoustic folk-rock trio; Dane Sharp – an award winning inspiring singer/songwriter mixing country, rock and heartfelt ballads; Ben Barker – an Original musician combining the Didgeridoo and guitar; with Local Rising Stars: Eliza Mae – a Year 12 student at Music Industry College; and Blind Corners – a newly formed local band; – all headlined by one of Australia’s greatest performers and songwriters Paul Kelly!
