Beau View Chapter Supports Silk Sisters Project
Last month the Beau-View Chapter No. 218 Order of ‘The Eastern Star’ held a Cent Auction at St Thomas’ Church Hall in Beaudesert, in support of the ‘The Silk Sisters Project’ in Cambodia which provides Maternal Child Health Care for the outlying community of the Prey Kabas Referral Hospital. Participants in the Cent Auction enjoyed over 120 prizes, 30 Raffle prizes, and 20 special draws – everyone had bags of prizes to take home!
Darren from Family Favourites donated the food which was greatly appreciated. Funds raised from the day’s event of $435 will certainly help out with the purchase of a Water Filtration Unit for the The Silk Sisters Project. Thank you to everyone who helped out, took part, and supported the Cent Auction – small steps with big gains!
