Catering BBQs
Sunday 11th September stretched our resources somewhat with two events.
The Tamborine District Citizens Association held a Car Show next to the Tamborine Memorial Hall, and the RTCB Bikes had an event at Moorang approximately 90km from home.
We were able to cater for both these events with the help of two members from Tamborine Mountain Lions.
Dinner Meeting
In September Tamborine Village Lions welcomed a new member to our club. Dr Grant Watson was inducted as a member at the dinner meeting held in the Lions Den. Members provided the food and the inductions was performed by Lion John Hammond of Tamborine Mountain Lions.
Recycling
Don’t forget to come to the monthly Markets to usefully dispose of your old spectacles and sunglasses at the Lions Stall.
We can also recycle used household batteries and your empty cans and bottles.
Our monthly markets are held on the first Sunday of each month 7 am to 12.00. Stall bookings and enquiries can be made on 0487 774 114.
We are very grateful for the support of the community who have helped over the years. If anyone would like to join us, membership enquiries can be made of Phil on 0411 708 234 or by email on tamborinevillage.qld@lions.org.au
