Tamborine Memorial Hall Management Committee
I would like to thank outgoing President Nicole for her dedicated and hard work over the last 10+ years and welcome incoming President Gary who has taken over the management of the Hall. Gary brings in a fresh approach and has assembled a very capable team of local residents that will see some effective changes in the booking and running of the Hall.
New Chief Executive Officer
Last week we appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Keenan. Mr Keenan brings a wealth of experience in local government through previous CEO roles with 5 Councils, most recently with Mt Isa City Council. This was an exhaustive process with over 70 applicants applying for the position.
Mr Keenan will commence his appointment on 28 November 2022 and I look forward to working with him in pursuit of a better Scenic Rim for all residents.

You’re now invited to share your thoughts on the next stage of the Gallery Walk improvements which includes off street parking.
Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk Precinct (the Precinct) is a shopping and hospitality precinct that services Tamborine Mountain locals and visitors with more than 70 specialty shops. Located on Long Road, Eagle Heights, it is an important regional visitor destination on Tamborine Mountain,
Over the past 20 years there have been a number of projects that identified issues and opportunities to improve the Precinct. Without external funding these projects haven’t been able to progress. Council received funding in 2020 from the Queensland Government’s Building Our Regions program to deliver a concept design and a business case, which will directly support future
The concept designs identify options for a broad scope of works based on community feedback and technical studies. The two concept designs provide different parking configurations, pedestrian facilities and amenity. The road alignment and property boundaries are the same in both designs and can’t be changed. The designs also show the general look and feel of what the Gallery Walk Precinct could offer.
