Tamborine Village Lions Christmas Carols 2022 …
Heavy downpours the day before threatened to move the Tamborine Village Lions Christmas Carols from being an outside event to setting up inside the hall. But the weather dried up in time for the Christmas Carol and Twilight Market event to be held in the grounds of the Tamborine Memorial Hall for all of the local community to enjoy!
The Lions put on popcorn, face painting, and a Christmas Raffle with ‘12 Hams of Christmas’ and many Lions Christmas Cakes and Puddings. A sausage sizzle by the Lions was available, and entertainment by Val and Coral Jones of Satin Sounds with many guests performing made for a most enjoyable evening.
Santa arrived in the Tamborine Rural Fire Brigade truck, and seated in a most spectacular ‘ballooned throne’ a long queue of children lined up to see him and Mrs Claus with each child receiving a special sweet treat.
The pesky Grinch also made an appearance!
