Mayor Tom Sharp, conducted the citizenship ceremony for 44 new citizens, and encouraged them all to write the next chapter in their story as they formally became Australian citizens.
“This Queensland Day marks 165 years since Queensland became an independent colony separate from New South Wales and this year is even more special as Beaudesert celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2024!” Mayor Tom said.
