Riding To Raise $9500 For Men’s Health!
The 2024 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was a huge success and will go down in the history books as the biggest DGR to date. 113,000+ riders in 958 cities, spread over 105 countries have raised an incredible US$7.5 Million!
Dapper riders from as far as the Sunshine Coast, as well as many locals, dressed dapper and rode on classic motorcycles to raise money for men’s health. Starting from iconic St Bernards Hotel, 36 riders gathered for breakfast, coffee, and to check out the range of beautiful bikes. Glenn Harrison, the lead organiser briefed the riders, and announced that as a group, the riders had raised $9500 for men’s health.
The distinguished gentlefolk then headed off on a slow ride to Main Street, looped around and then gathered again at Cinnamon Bun Café on Gallery Walk.
After the presentations for Best Dressed, Best DGR Spirit Motorbikes, and more, the riders then headed to their finish destination, the Eagle Heights Hotel.
The day was a perfect sunny mountain day. Thank you to the three sponsors of the ride and all the riders for such a great day. The ride will take place again next year and we welcome new riders to our small, yet very dapper ride.
